Charles Paul Azzopardi is a multiple international award winning black and white fine-art photographer and (en) Visionographer based in Malta. He has won several accolades, including PX3 Gran Prix de la Photographie in Paris, International Photography Awards, Monochrome Awards and the Athens Architectural photography contest, as well as being published in several international magazines including Stark Magazine, Photoplus, Adore Noir, Art Photo Feature and Black & White Photography UK. Self-taught throughout the whole process, Charles incorporates the use of black and white and long exposure techniques to capture the true soul of a subject matter, always based on the internal vision and intent he wants his final images to evoke.

Born in Malta, Charles has studied internal medicine and haematology, but has always cultivated his artistically oriented passions, geared towards photography and writing. He specializes in long exposure black and white fine art architectural images, together with performing arts photography.
