Brian Matiash is a Portland-based photographer who has been pursuing and growing his particular brand of imagery since 1996. He is also proud to be a member of Sony’s Artisans of Imagery program.
By day, Brian serves as Google’s Global Photos Products Evangelist, leveraging his knowledge of the photo industry and working with key influencers, partners, and consumers to bring awareness of the Google+ Photos products and platform.
Additionally, Brian is a published writer and lover of all things social media. He is a regular contributor to Photoshop User Magazine and Photoshop Elements Techniques Magazine, as well as to the Photofocus and FStoppers photography blogs. He has been a featured speaker at the Google+ Photographers Conference and Photoshop World and his work has been featured as part of F-Stop Gear’s ‘Life In Focus’ video series and Scott Kelby’s ‘The Grid’ and ‘Photoshop User TV’ programs.
Admittedly, he has a [not-so] tiny obsessions with long-exposure photography, neutral density filters and tilt shift lenses. Basically, Brian’s passion is helping others help themselves with their own photography pursuits.
